I have not found nystatin to be particularly useful either in treatment of the baby’s mouth or in the treatment of the mother’s nipples. Nature's Way is a reliable company which makes Echinacea in capsule form. This pain may occur without any nipple pain. We then went onto Miconazole oral gel, but found out at about that time that I needed to be treated as well. Check This Out

I found it really helped me knowing that it wasn't mine or baby's fault that feeding was so painful. I strongly urge you to treat it aggressively and with all you've got. The nipple pain of Candida may begin without an interval of pain free nursing, however. I dont know what to do I am so close to giving up BF but soo dont want to. I am still using the nystatin in the mean time but hopefully not for long. his comment is here I assume you were using the N drops?
