I should have checked for 12v across the lamp socket's hot line and the chassis. 2004 Dodge Ram Backup Lights Not Working
most likely the problem is being caused by the netural safety switch. http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/...r/DSC08003.jpg Here's the old NSS, note that there are only two pins -- there are supposed to be three. Still no reverse lights.
- Shift the transmission into REVERSE and test continuity at the switch outer terminals.
