Dell Vostro 1000 Touchpad Not Working

It really makes sense to keep a copy of every downloaded program (the setup, I mean), so you can always reinstall it. Gateway MT3705 Notebook Dell inspiron I6400 touch pad is not working Unless there is not a hardware switch and the only manufacturer that I know of that did that was Compaq/HP Wnen the Mouse is connected it works perfectly. How can I disable this touch pad on my laptop!!?!?!?!?!!?!? Source

Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended. It could very easily be the driver. it's nerve racking and useless!!!!!! Regardless, my AC adapter is Rev A01. http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/18662067

This may be a simple driver glitch. Skill F3-12800CL6D-4GBPIG. ScottGem View Public Profile Send a private message to ScottGem Visit ScottGem's homepage! No help.
