Use a screw drivers and remove the screws from you Dell 600m HeatSin Fan. 5. The screw will remain attached to the cord when fully removed. Also the video card is you have one of the accelerator cards like an nVidia (3 screws).

When I go online, they suggest that my memory DIMM might be spoilt. Felt the need to leave a thank you feed back. I suspect that the battery will no longer hold a large enough charge to facilitate start-up on the battery. Fan whirred for a couple seconds, but screen stayed blank.
It's running under Windows 2000 and above operating system versions (Windows 2000/XP/Server2003/Vista). I will try to remove the SO-DIMMS and clean it, but can you tell me where to find them and how do they look? This is a very fragile process though.
